my macbook says 15 gb needed …. that is indeed a lot of space, is there a 1 gb version?

Okay I think this is not needed for Python but for command line developer tools, which may not be entirely necessary.
You can close your Terminal and continue with the video (from around 5:50).
My computer is not allowing me to download Python 3.12.0 because I have Python 3.12.6 already installed. I had to install the Python 3.12.0 on a different computer that I usually don’t like using for data analysis because of its limited storage.
Hello! That’s surprising. Usually a computer can hold multiple Python versions. Perhaps come to our next help session so we can take a closer look.
I think 3.12.6 should be okay for the course though. So you can use your regular computer. And let us know if you run into any issues.
