Hi instructors, or anyone who can help. I am encountering an error, as you can see in the attached photo. I cannot knit, but all the codes are running well. Please help…

Hi Lameck!

It appears your code is correct but for some reason RStudio is not finding the dataset. I recommend saving your Rmd file and try restarting your R session. Sometimes this can debug small errors.

Hello. I did not use the here function for my code and it still knit. is it beacuse my csv is in the data folder in the rmd?ebola_sierra_leone <- read_csv(“data/ebola_sierra_leone.csv”) Also, this may be intuitive but how to type the backticks in mark because i was not able to do this command succesfully… Read more »

Hi Muna!

Although Rmd appeared to knit, we always recommend you to add the here() function when importing any dataset. So make sure to include it in your script.

As for the inline code, just as Lameck mention, you need to write the inline code INSIDE the tick marks.

Very interesting, however I would like to know if Markdown can help carry out geographic analyzes such as remote sensing or thematic analyses? And if in future training you could include such analyses. THANKS

Kene David

Hello! Yes R can be used for this. We’ll consider including it in future sessions.
